[instagram] correct subcategory for reels

When a reel is available under a user's posts, it's recognized as posts instead of reels. And when downloading a link to a reel (https://www.instagram.com/reel/xxx/), it's always recognized as post. Can a check be done so it could update the subcategory if it is one?

It is not possible and/or feasible to change the subcategory and config lookup path for each individual file or post.

I could add something like a type metadata field (image, video, reel), which could be used with conditional directory and filename format strings, but that's about it.

The subcategory here could be updated since the "type" is known at the start.

Do you have an example of a reel that's on the main posts timeline but not on the reels timeline and one the other way round, if those even exist?

Every /reel/ I can find is on both...

Or a different question: How should posts by type-ed?
I'm thinking of something like

• reel for posts with only 1 video
• post for posts with only 1 photo (or only photos)
• carousel for posts with more than 1 file (or mix of photo & video)

I don't think I've ever seen a reel on the main timeline that isn't also on the reels timeline, but I have seen it the other way around, like this one. It's still accessible as a post when manually adjusting the link to the post format, it just won't appear on the main timeline.

As for the types, I think I lean more toward having post to also be used for mixtures, since I like sticking with the established subcategory names. But considering that this is meant to be a "type" field, it wouldn't be as accurate I guess. So I'd say that name scheme is fine (unless a post can only be a video but not a reel, which I don't think I've seen yet).
