Some Linux downloads with truncated filenames #7887

so, I'm grabbing stuff from Patreon in both windows and linux, and some of the linux downloads are getting truncated and garbled filenames like 2YYL6V~L.JPG while that never happens with the windows version. Am I correct to assume that using would force it to retain those original(/windows) filenames? I can't quite decipher what's in the help. |

You can use
-o path-restrict=windowsWhen you download using Linux it automatically allows characters in filenames that are allowed in Linux but not Windows which makes the filenames look like that in Windows.
