Marimo reports Autosave `Overridden by pyproject.toml [off]` even though `pyproject.toml` specifies on?

Describe the bug

I have the following lines in my pyproject.toml

[tool.marimo.save]
autosave = "after_delay"
autosave_delay = 1000
format_on_save = true

but my marimo server (instantiated from the project directory) still reports that it's off? Am I doing something wrong?

Duplicate of #4196 maybe. This is because we turn auto-save off for --watch mode. (and the frontend thinks any override means its from the pyproject.toml)

OOhh yeah, that's it! Do you have any recommendations for a workflow that integrates an external editor?

I'm pretty tied to my editor and will occasionally jump back and forth doing editing on either side depending on how much work there is to be done

You can still save in both editors at once, we just turn off auto save to avoid unintentional overwrites
