@mafintosh Sorry to ping you but I thing this feature should definitely be merged. This resolve #225 and #264 allowing plugins to work with the filename. Thanks for your consideration. |

Got excited when I saw this patch as I've been meaning to have a go at it myself, but turns out it crashes my peerflix when launching with vlc :( |

As the author of #244 didn't respond in a year, I just wrote a followup to finally get this feature merged.
