Feature Request - Link and Copy to Separate Directories

I'm unsure if this will ever become possible, and I might need to change my setup.

Right now, I use mackup to link all my configs to a private repo. I really like this setup because it allows me to track any changes to the configs.

I want to take advantage of the new copy feature and have it store the configs in a separate directory within the repo.

@hoium I had the same need, but I ended up using separate config files for copy-only applications & link-only applications. Something like this:

mackup -c ~/path/to/copy.cfg backup
mackup -c ~/path/to/link.cfg link install

# copy.cfg
[storage]
engine = file_system
path = path/to
directory = copy

[applications_to_sync]
...

# link.cfg
[storage]
engine = file_system
path = path/to
directory = link

[applications_to_sync]
...
