usage of package, grid map subscription #85

Hello everyone, i have successfully used the elevation_mapping and grid_map packages to create an elevation map and also get the traversability grid map and occupancy grid. However i was wandering if i could use this package in order to include more sophisticated filtering for getting the traversability estimation of the terrain.I wanted to ask if its possible to use the package by only subscribing to the grid map topic of the elevation map, or the grid_map_filter_demo/filtered_map topic, that both are messages of type grid_map_msgs/GridMap and dont use an image topic. How would that be possible to directly use the gridmap topic to produce a traversability output?
