Current behaviour
Notes are modified after importing, based on the line endings of the files.
To reproduce, starting from a newly-installed Joplin:
- Create a new directory.
Create two notes,note1.txtandnote2.txtwith CRLF line endings. From Windows cmd.exe:echo test>note1.txt echo testing>note2.txt - From Joplin, File, Import, TXT - Text document (Directory). Select the newly-created directory.
- Select the new notebook in the sidebar, and notice that note2 comes before note1, as expected.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+L, and move down to note1. After that, note1 moves to the top of the list.
Try again from step 2, but first create note1.txt and note2.txt with LF line endings.
The notes stay in the correct order after importing.
Expected behaviour
I expected the order of notes not to change as I moved through the list, only after I updated something. If line endings have to be LF, it should change them during import.
