Please cover a regression example

Hi Vincent. I'm super into this framework. As a domain expert, I see some helpful ise cases with this tool involving regression. However, I'm not confident to apply regression as no example are provided.

I would like to try to give an example.

Retail Store Sales

• Consider a retail store owner
• they do not make sales outside open hours
• they keep track of "Hours open on Day" on the days they do open the store.

We can create a condition that if store open hours is Nan, then the sales on that day would be 0

Advantage
This rule would be applied before data goes to ML model. This rule-based system will prevent the model from getting confused

Consider a situation where the store owner closes the shop few times on Christmas and few times it's open. This will prevent the model from confusing effect of Christmas and effect of store opening/closing.

For forecasting year-ahead sales, the store owner could specify which days they intend to close the shop - whether or not it's Christmas, and get an optimal forecast.

Does your example also come with a dataset that could be shared in the docs?

I'm sorry, but that was an example I created which just made sense.

Hence, there is no real-world dataset that is associated with that example. If I find a dataset, I'll share it, is that alright?

That'd be welcome. Without a dataset to add to the docs, it is going to be hard to really show the merits of the technique.
