Bug Description
The voice assistant stops receiving audio input and can't hear the user speaking. This appears to happen after:
- The app has been muted for a while
- There has been a period of silence (no speaking)
Expected Behavior
The assistant should always be able to hear the user when unmuted, regardless of how long it has been silent or muted.
Possible Causes
- Audio context suspension after inactivity
- MediaRecorder state not properly resuming
- WebSocket connection timing out
- Audio stream not reinitializing correctly after unmute
Steps to Reproduce
- Start Nod.ie
- Mute the app or don't speak for an extended period
- Try to speak to the assistant
- Assistant doesn't respond to voice input
