Upgrade and retest

There've been multiple major updates to the framework, protocols and libraries we use. The development started when MCP just released.
Need to upgrade everything, refactor the code as needed and retest everything using different clients and both protocols.
The tests must be user facing, goal is offering a high quality tool. Consider testing edge cases and whatever both experienced and experienced users could potentially request.

Additionally provide feedback regarding automated tests, how easy it would be to develop them and how reliable they would be.
