Disable screensaver in online epub reader

Every now and then my screensaver activates while reading books on high resolution display, or small font settings, or books in foreign languages (or maybe just being a slow reader.)

It should be possible to prevent this by using the Screen Wake Lock API.

I could extend my screensaver timeout before reading books, or read faster.

Suggestion:

Add a checkbox in the epub reader settings to activate Wake Lock while reading, which activates wake lock and reactivates wake lock when visibility returns (switched back from another tab / window restored from being minimized.)
The checkbox should be disabled (not unchecked) when the reader isn't used in a secure context (HTTPS).
