Debounce Time has no effect

For me the debounce time does not seem to have an effect.

Even if I'm setting the debounce time to 5 seconds the switch immediately jumps back to off after activating it. Then after a short time it turns back on, once all lights have actually turned on.

I'm on v.1.7.7 and Home Assistant OS, core version 2026.1.2.

Any way I could further debug this issue?

so the reason for this behaviour was that I set the transition time to zero. Even setting it to 0.1 helped.
Is that behaviour intentional?
