[Bounty Claimed] High Memory Usage

Homarr v1.0 is consistently using around 600MB of RAM on my setup. This seems excessively high for a dashboard application. I'd typically expect usage closer to 200-300MB.

Hi, we are aware of this, but this hasn't too much of a priority at the moment.
We are already taking first steps to optimize it. Homarr is doing a lot in the background, so higher usage is somewhat expected.

A low hanging fruit is to switch from having 3 node.js processes to just a single one.

I've checked the memory usage in my container using the command ps -eo pid,rss,args. If you find a good way on how to use only one nodejs process, feel free to create a contribution for it.

I am increasing priority of this issue. I might try looking into this. If anyone has more experience with memory dumping and profiling in Node.js, feel free to let us know.

• Check out whether a concurrency library reduces memory footprint

• Check out whether we can use Next.js non-standalone mode: https://nextjs.org/docs/app/guides/custom-server
  • Check whether Nginx can be removed as a dependency and be replaced with a single web server process (e.g. express)
• Can we use Bun? https://bun.com/ Node.js runtime avg is 100MB alloc, bun is 1/3
