As for this issue, I just don't seem to find any clear documentation as to what the score value represents, in plain english. While my gut is telling me it's a weight based on the number of commits and the size of changes in the commits, it would be useful for all users to have a clearly written description of this in the README.md or some other docs for consumers to quickly reference.
Maybe it's there but I'm not seeing it?
