Because this client uses :mod:`grpcio` library, it is safe to
share instances across threads. In multiprocessing scenarios, the best
practice is to create client instances *after* the invocation of
:func:`os.fork` by :class:`multiprocessing.Pool` or
:class:`multiprocessing.Process`.
