question: why not use `zap` for logging?

I am wondering why clue uses its own logger implementation and not just uses zap which might give users the ability to better configure their logger as well be more performant and standardized?

Is there any future hope for this?

The clue logger has a few nice properties that have been useful, namely the fact it merely requires a context instead of having to pass around another object and its buffering capability. That being said we could make the places where clue logs accept a generic logger interface similar to how Pulse does it.
