I'm using Vincent Driessen's git branching model and therefore my default branch is not master (with version dev-master) but develop (and version is dev-develop). And I could not make it work with my package, since the current branch was not the one corresponding to the version constraint.

I thought it could be useful to inform users about this detail.

Hmm, I'd rather take care of #52 (by merging the corresponding PR), that might fix this problem...
