@ari-noumena Thank you. I actually already have this working locally, I just got side tracked on some of the other projects I support. I'll take a look though and see if there is any thing extra here that makes sense to pull in. |

I've linked my PR. It won't be behind a switch. It will omit any scissor lines that are not escaped automatically. |

This is my attempt to implement #1980. I thought it would be best to add as a disabled-by-default feature.
