This would be very weird if the log out worked on one EW deployment but not desktop nor all deploys. Feels more like something the logout api should return |

The logout API is insufficient for the use case. This setting has existed elsewhere for just over a year and has proven useful, even if different for Desktop. Given these sorts of deployments will have other customisations and such, they'll also be shipping their own Desktop build config. |
