"m.mentions"."user_ids" seems to cut server part when special symbol exists

Steps to reproduce

1. Send message from Element Desktop (ED), mentioning some users.
2. Edit it from ED.
3. ED will generate incorrect user logins in m.mentions - just the @user - missing server part (including : and following) if user id is in the following format: @user/department:company.co

What did you expect?

I would expect proper full user id's, as otherwise Element X can't process it - see element-hq/element-x-ios#5010 (comment)

What happened instead?

only @user part ended up in that part.

Just re-tried and it keeps re-occurring, the differences are:

• I have two nicknames
• here is the format of the username: @user/division.at.deparment.company:server.com

In your message: "I'm quoting @user1/division.at.deparment.company:server.com and @user2/division.at.deparment.company:server.com"

BTW, I didn't put full names - I've chosen them from the menu that appeared after the @ sign - maybe the user name migrated from that list in just the first part?
I have no ideas how to check that - once chosen I can only see username as some special kind of structure and can't look inside.

If you cannot provide steps to reproduce this issue reliably then this would need to be closed, I've already attempted your reproduction steps twice and both times m.mentions looks valid to me.

Thank you. With your notes I've narrowed down the issue down to the following:

1. Start any message
2. Inside of the message type @ and choose a username from the menu that appears - the name of the user will appear in some kind of black border / frame.
3. Send this message.
4. Edit it.

The issue won't happen with short names (@user:server.com) if you put the username manually in full - it only occurs when a user with long name with / is chosen from the menu.

Please, let me know if that makes sense. In my case it's 100% reproduceable.
