composer no longer gets focus after you edit a message

if you use cursor keys to edit a message and hit enter to finish editing, you used to get teleported back to the message compser. but no longer.

Assigning to myself as it could be related to some of the Threads work that happened recently that modified that area

I've seen similar issues:

• if I type any character with the Element Web tab focused it used to start typing in the composer directly, but doesn't anymore
• if I press ⬆️ (and I'm not in the composer) it used to start editing my previous message but doesn't anymore

All this is pretty greatly screwing up my muscle memory since now I need to manually click on the composer or the message I want to edit.
