New or edited captions are not synced (...sometimes, maybe)

When adding or editing captions in the editor, these files never end up in Tobira. Editor starts republish metadata, but after that workflow is finished and the Tobira worker has upserted the republished event, the DB entry is still missing the captions.

Edit: I tested this on a local OC and Tobira. However it seems to be working on https://tobira.opencast.org and other deployments, so I'll close this again. See my comment below on another possible problem - if that is confirmed I'll open another issue.

It appears the issue is rather that switching subtitles isn't possible. Would you mind adding a second caption and see if you're able to switch between the two @oas777? Or just try if you can switch the captions of https://tobira.opencast.org/v/IENj3NDGhHW, I already added two over there.

You're right, there are two (now different) subtitle sets in that cat video but you cannot change subtitles when playing the video. Maybe due to the two sets holding the same name? Cf.

In principle, it does work however: https://video.test.tobira.ethz.ch/!v/P9VCaQlme_k. With four differently named subtitle sets:

Well, we have the problem. 😢 It only occurs when the subtitles are uploaded via the editor in Opencast. In that case, the subtitles don’t appear in Tobira. However, uploading subtitles directly in Tobira works fine.

There does appear to be an issue, at least sometimes. I added a third caption to https://tobira.opencast.org/v/IENj3NDGhHW on friday, but it's still not showing up (you can confirm that three captions exist in opencast by opening the event in editor).
