if I should be hacking this somewhere else for timely import around preview4, that's fine - just someone hit me with an internal link and I'll be there!

I was in two minds whether to list this under "asp.net core" or "libraries" - it kinda fits both; for comparison, the distributed cache docs live under "aspnet". Happy to relocate if folks feel strongly one way or the other.

Awesome new feature! Since this is an ASP.NET Core feature, I believe it should go in the ASP.NET Core release notes. I copied this content to dotnet/AspNetCore.Docs#32361 (comment) to make sure that happens. I think this PR can just be closed and then you can review the draft ASP.NET Core release notes content once that's available in the next few weeks.
