Add a pause button to GIF images

Dear Developer:

I have an idea: when browsing GIF images, could you add a pause button, centered at the bottom of the screen? GIFs would automatically play by default, and you could stop playback by pressing the pause button (⏸️), just like a video player. Pressing the button again would resume playback. Is this feature currently feasible on the Android platform?
