Figure out SOAP library

It's not clear what the best way to communicate with a SOAP API is in elixir.

Reasons

• The main option, based on the awesome elixir catalog is detergentex
• detergentex hasn't been updated since 2015
• the erlang library that detergentex is a wrapper for -- detergent -- similarly seems to no longer be maintained
• there is almost no documentation for these libraries, which makes it difficult to see how to build complicated XML requests (of the sort NS requires) with them
• the few example requests given are for very, very basic SOAP APIs that are no longer functioning

SOAP is ancient, I don't think I'd expect much development on either things you mentioned. The main question is, do they work? 😂

I wasn't able to make a SOAP request to NetSuite in elixir with the resources available to me last year. But I'm sure it's possible! If you can figure it out, I'd love to see how to do it. Feel free to post something here or open a PR. It'd be much appreciated! :)

I've pinged the creator of detergentx to try to get some help on this issue: r-icarus/detergentex#9. He may not reply, but worth trying!
