This takes the internals of the package a bit further from upstream Serilog, but since we don't need to maintain API compatibility for non-public types, we can get away with fixing/avoiding some inefficiencies that otherwise require more complicated workarounds - in particular, skipping reallocation of the
LogEvent.Propertiesdictionary.
