the issue was that the new PHPUnit didn't support our lowest allowed PHP version any more. I've modified it to allow both PHPUnit 10 and PHPUnit 11, assuming that won't break renovate bot

This sounds like an important item. I will add a changelog entry for you to stipulate both versions are now permitted.

I mean there's no harm. It can still be released whenever a patch/whatever the next version is. Figure more info is better than none.
