[BUG] Remote executing CTRL+C not functioning

Description

When running on remote instances, CTRL+C - for cancelling scripts, does not cancel the script and it continues to run in the remote shell.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Remote execute VM bulk clone (proxmox)
2. CTRL+C to cancel mid operation
3. Evaluate bash shells on remote host.

Expected Behavior

Kills the process ASAP.
