How to automatically close inactive sessions after a long period?

I noticed that once a session is created, it doesn't automatically expire, and the documentation doesn't clearly explain how sessions are managed.

indeed... we don't have an expiration time for sessions, meaning that we could easily get orphaned session processes.

yeah, the more direct solution is to implement an expiration time, and we should write a more explicit documentation on how session are managed internally, although i kinda feels strange to expose session management for final users directly...
