Launch kcc

Expected behavior
Launch

• OS: Linux (EndevorOS)
• Device Kobo Libra 2

Additional context
Last successfully launched Dec 13 2025
Troubleshooting attempted:
Reinstall KCC - No change
Reinstall all dependancies - No change
Use windows.exe with wine - Doesn't launch, assuming same issue but no console output to test
clone repo - "ERROR: raven 6.0.0+ is not installed!" (python-raven 6.10.0 is installed, reinstalled to be sure)

Python 3.14 may be the problem? Please use 3.13 or earlier right now @hunter-m-git

It's at least a new error which is great, thank you.

now I've got "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'packaging' " but I can now look for that and see if there is a recorded solution, and I'll update here when I find it for anyone else with the same problem.

Python 3.11 is what KCC is tested on in case that's useful

progress I guess.

Moving packaging from /lib/python3.14 to python3.13 fixed that issue, now the other dependencies that are installed are not reading as installed.

This is all the time I can spend on this atm but I will update if I get it working.

You should probably be using a venv like the readme says.
