I've been testing this http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_56_0/doc/html/boost_asio/tutorial/tuttimer5/src.html and on my PC (Ubuntu 14.10, Qtcreator and a g++), strings are not flushed to std::cout unless std::endl is appended. Basically, if I leave "\n" as it is, everything will be printed right before the main's return(0); .
