Hello, may I ask if it is possible to restore the background music? Not every game adds music, so it would be great if we could choose a game with custom music and pause the local background music, and choose a game without custom music to continue playing the local background music

It is Built-in function:

Check 'Play backup music when music cannot be found' and then open Main menu -> Extensions -> Playnite Sounds -> Default and select backup music.

When selecting a game with custom music, the default background sound is muted or paused. When leaving a game with custom music, the default background sound continues to play instead of starting from scratch. If you are using PS5reborn theme, this behavior is build in, ambient music pauses when game has own music, and continues when game has not music. You just need to disable default and select music function in plugin.

If you are using old themes like PS5ish, there is no way of controlling ambient music pause.

Your theme is very beautiful, but personally, I still prefer the style of PS5ish. There are some bugs in your theme, such as too many full screen categories that cannot be displayed completely, and music that is correct in the main interface, custom music that does not work in all game interfaces, and so on. If you could help add this feature to PS5ish, it would be greatly appreciated

Well, PS5reborn theme is made to be exact copy of PS5, so all features in theme is exactly same as on PS5, including game music stopping in certain elements. All that behavior is exactly same 1:1 to real ps5.

About categories, only 2 are shown on main screen, Games and Media, rest is hidden inside "game library" just like on real ps5.

Anyway, i am not creator of PS5ish, its really old theme and has zero support.

Oh okay so you never actually had PS5, because it shows only 10 games as well and rest is in game library.

With theme options plugin you can expand main list from 10 to 20

As soon as PlayniteSoundMod use single MusicPlayer it cannot implement overlapping crossfader.

Other thing looks i may do.
