Overall change looks good to me!! It would be helpful for folks to review if we can attach a screenshot or screen recording of the changes.

I don't really understand how to trigger this. We just trip on it a lot. I think it's basically delete an object and have some backend component fail to update properly, but I really don't have the energy to try to reproduce it with a patched version.
