WebSend from ESP8266EX causes regularily reboot of ESP32
Sending device:
ESP8266Ex flashed with Tasmota 13.3.0 sends every 24 sec. this WebSend-Command

Receiving device:
ESP32-D0WD-V3 rev.3 flashed with Tasmota 12.5.0(tasmota32), Programmed with berry script
Problem:
After about 15 hours the Receiving device (ESP32) makes a reboot.

• i recorded the heap and found out that it is permanently decreasing:
  • after rebooting it is about 125 KB
  • after approximately 15 hrs. it is about 25 and ESP32 reboots
  • these 25 hours represent approximatele 2250 WebSend-receivings.
• If i stop the WebSend (from EXP8266EX) - heap does not decrease (on ESP32) - no reboot happens (this is why i think
  it has nothing to do with my berry script)
  Could somebody give me a hint what could be the issue?

As a starting point, I'd try if the memory leak still occurs with current Tasmota, instead of a pretty old version.

Still, I'd check what Berry code may be doing, instead of only guessing that pausing the WebSend activity is a "proof" of reasons.

You could use a rule on the ESP32 to run the MODBUSSend command at the same frequency. That would point if the WebSend is in cause or not. (actually it's not the WebSend which runs on the esp8266 but the http cmnd interface that is in suspect)

Or running only the WebSend+ModbusSend part, without anything else (including the Berry code) going on, to check if memory leaks in that case.

i stopped Berry Script on ESP32 but continued to send ModBusSend-Command from EXP8266EXby "WebSend". What we can see ist, that curve is now straighter (because there is no pulsing influence of berry-script) and going deeper (because no memory needed at all by berry script) see red arrow. The green arrow shows the time where i deactivated WebSend. (Blue crosses mark manually reset)
The next thing i am doing is to deactivate berry scripting and doing ModBusSend by Rule. But as the WebSend actually is the command that steers my PV-Battery i have to find a proper time slot to carry it out. i keep you updated - thank you so far :)

Updating to actual Tasmota version 15.2. solved the problem :)
