$ ./src/spek
../src/common/iconbndl.cpp(360): assert ""icon.IsOk()"" failed in AddIcon(): invalid icon
../src/common/iconbndl.cpp(360): assert ""icon.IsOk()"" failed in AddIcon(): invalid icon
Pressing the "continue" button 2x gets the window open and fully launched and functional.
Per the README, I skipped the "make install" and (as shown, above) simply run it from CL. In this case I do not think spek should be attempting to add icons--or there should (at least) be a prompt with the "Do not ask again" option.
I was going to look at iconbndl.cpp, just for fun (and to see if I could make sense of it), but I couldn't find it.
