Left/right/up/down/there Windows cursor files don't show on Safari on web display

This one should at least be an easy fix. I noticed the wind direction icons weren't showing up except as little boxes when I was using the web flight plan display from Safari on my iPad. Investigated a bit, and looks like the reason is Safari doesn't support Windows .cur files. I turned them into png, but didn't see anything editable in the web directory containing the file names. So I presume it's in the code.

But I see no reference to these files anywhere except a commented in section here:

Do you use the latest LNM 3.0.19 and is the document root directory in options on page Web Server empty?
Is the folder .../LittleNavmap-win32-3.0.18/web in its original state? I ask because some add-ons change it.

I don't see anything newer than the very recent 3.0.18, but I do have that. I should say it's on Arch Linux, installed from the AUR package "littlenavmap-bin". It's in /opt/littlenavmap-bin/web and should be whatever you provided, except of course I made .png files for those .cur files. But the .cur files are of course still there, in that web/images directory.

I should add every other thing works. I figured it was the .cur files since that was the one thing that was different about the ones that don't work. And they do work on Firefox running locally on Linux. Just Safari on my iPad. Figure it's Safari and it would work if it was just png files.

(EDIT: Oh yes, and the web/ files would have to be unmodified, because they're installed as root, so X-Plane 12 plugins would be unable to modify them.)
(Additional edit: I see what you mean, they're not referenced. Then I am not sure why it shows up as boxes, I'll poke around see if I can trace it.)

Ok, I was way off on the reason. Think it's from common/textpointer.cpp. And I have no idea why that fails on Safari on iPad. Would guess it doesn't recognize those characters, just seems weird it wouldn't have them.

LNM does check for OS and uses different arrows. This can fail if the OS is "on the other side" of the web server. The arrows are not available on all systems depending on used font and font installation.

No idea how to solve this for all OS except going back to basic and hard to read >, <, ^ and v.

I see the issue, yeah. Honestly, don't know I'd approach fixing that. If you think of an elegant fix, that'd be great. Otherwise, I'll just blame Apple and move on. lol

I suppose if they were actual images like PNGs or whatnot, that would work always.

Since this happens only in the route and other HTML (generated in code) this is probably not a tooooo bg deal.
