Wuthering waves fps unlocker for linux. Unlocks 120 FPS on the steam version of the game.

Instructions

For getting the patcher, please message me on Discord: serap0288 (shimoris).

If you have messaged me and have the patcher, follow the below instructions.

1. make sure the game is closed!!!!
2. in your Steam libary, right click on wuthering waves > Manage > Browse Local Files the path should be like:

    $ pwd /home/<your_username>/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Wuthering Waves

3. Use the given unlocker, and place it in that Wuthering Waves folder
4. Open up a terminal in that same folder. Run the following commands:

   $ chmod +x fps.elf # make it executable
   $ ./fps.elf        # run the patcher

5. you should see some progress promts on the terminal. wait some time and let it do its job. do not close it or otherwise u risk corrupting game files!
6. If done close it
7. in steam, i recommend you use the command mangohud %command% to see if the fps value is unlocked.
8. start up the game. You should now have higher fps then 60 . Enjoy and have fun.

As for a alternative launch command, use this :

• mangohud STEAMDECK=1 WINE_GSTREAMER=1 PROTON_USE_NTSYNC=1 PROTON_MEDIA_USE_GST=1 %command% -dx12

Nvidia may have issues with -dx12 flag, or other issues such as stuttering. In that case, use the -dx11 flag.
