• Inspected model dependencies in app/routes/settings.tsx, app/types/models.d.ts, app/utils/streamHandler.ts, app/hooks/useSystemPromptManager.ts, and app/hooks/useSimpleChat.ts for hard-coded identifiers or schema assumptions.
• Verified that the canonical model list (app/data/models.json) and type definition (ModelInfo in app/types/models.d.ts) match the schema provided in the new attachment.
• Downloaded and reviewed models.json to confirm all expected entries, IDs, and fields.
• Searched for all code and test references to individual model IDs and checked for any that are not present in the new model set.
• Audited code and test logic to ensure mappings, selection menus, and validation in settings.tsx and hooks all depend on the data in app/data/models.json, not legacy constants.
• Searched for imports/usages of app/data/models.json and found direct imports in settings.tsx and type declarations in models.d.ts.
• Replaced app/data/models.json with the downloaded file contents, as documented in the patch.
• Confirmed clean results from pnpm check—formatting, type checks, and tests all pass (362 tests, 4 skipped).
• Committed and pushed changes to the ai-204-updating-open-router-models branch (commit d77fceb), and began creating a draft PR referencing Updating open router models #204.

Implemented.

• Retrieved the attachment and replaced app/data/models.json with its exact contents
• Schema matches existing usage (id, name, description); no code changes needed
• Canonical import points verified:
  • app/routes/settings.tsx uses the list for “Recommended models”
  • app/types/models.d.ts defines the JSON shape
• Existing defaults and identifiers (e.g., anthropic/claude-sonnet-4) remain valid

  • anthropic/claude-opus-4.1
  • openrouter/horizon-beta
  • qwen/qwen3-coder
  • inception/mercury-coder

  • format: ok
  • typecheck: ok
  • tests: 65 files, 362 passed, 4 skipped
