group import: issues with umlauts

Hi,

when creating my KNX groups I sadly created group names with umlauts. Now I am facing the issue that i cannot import those groups correctly. When pasting the csv content to the text field every umlaut gets replace with a space, when importing the file directly the umlauts get replaced with other special chars.

I know, the best way would be renaming the groups in ETS, but I have several hundred groups and would also have to reimport and replace those in the GPA app. Is there a way to import those groups and keep the umlauts?

Umlaut shouldn’t be an issue.
Tomorrow i’ll check that and revert to you.
Do you have problems only in the node status messages, oralso elsewhere? In the ETS field, you shouldn’t have issues. Can You post a screenshot of the ETS textbox?

I am so sorry. There is no issue with the import. Opening the csv with the windows editor already destroyed the umlauts. I just installed Notepad++ and everything is fine when pasting them into the field.
