[Bug]: Team invitation does not resolve for new users

What happened?

Hi,

Observation

When adding a new user to a team, that is currently unkown, it appears as invited (red):

So far so good.

When the user logs in then, he is not part of the team and the team is in the same state 👆.

When adding the user by email once again, it is listed (and handled) as proper member while the invitation still appears as pending (red):

Expectation

I would have expected during first login of that user, that the team invitation resolves and he is member of this team right away. (that's why I chose bug report)

Further info

We run our instance with auth.method = header and without SMTP.

The design around invite is that it requires the user to accept the invite, which requires SMTP. I'm willing to consider an enhancement for disabling that to support self-hosted instances that don't make use of SMTP and are internal use.
