This is #295 rebased on top of #297.
#297 reintroduced the type piracy mentioned in #193.
This now adds a new test because the old test didn't catch the regression anymore, but on the currently released ComponentArrays reshape([1]) becomes ambiguous after loading ComponentArrays.

I think it is just an issue in AdvancedHMC as you also found: TuringLang/AdvancedHMC.jl#460.
