I finally got time to look through it, and I just wanted to say that this look very cool!
But I think this is too much functionality for a script that is thought to just be used for NewPipe and I lack the time to properly review and implement it (especially with the GUI that is planned). But I find it very cool, to see what you build on top of it.

I suggest that you fork it and develop it further (not merging into NewPipePlaylistExtractor) as a multi-tool (like a Swiss Army Knife) to download playlists form FOSS-media apps. I can add a link in the README to point to your fork, for people that are in search of a tool for the platform they use.

Also, I decided to move all my repositories to Codeberg, as I do no longer want to use GitHub.
