deform.js forces a call to jquery which makes a call to deform.load() when the DOM has finished loading. People don't need to add an additional call, and adding one will more than likely just break things.

Thank you for your pull request. I am the new Deform project maintainer. I apologize the issue of this pull request not being commented earlier. Deform project is again under activate maintenance. This is issue tracker / pull request clean to prepare a new release. This pull request looks good to go and is merged. |

I also incorporated #239 which makes the example syntax work in py3k.
