Choose Template Plan

Complete Process

1. Log in to DistrictBuilder.
2. Verify that the tab selected on the left is "Template", and that the table is populated with the templates at the selected legislative level (e.g. "Blank" and "Congressional").
3. Verify that the "Plan Details" panel's fields are empty.
4. Select one of the plans.
5. Verify that the "Plan Details" panel's fields are populated with the values corresponding to the selected plan.
6. Verify that a "Request File" button appears in the upper right of the "Plan Details" panel.
7. Click on "Start Drawing".
8. Verify that the browser pops up an alert box with the message "A name for the copied template is required."
9. Click "OK"
10. Enter a name in section 4: "Name your new plan:"
11. Click "OK"
12. Verify that the button text changes to "Creating New Plan..."
13. After a few moments, verify that the application loads a map editing session, with the name of the new plan visible at the top of the score side bar, and in the lower left corner, next to the "Last Saved" message.
