v0.7.16 – Update Check Fix

This release fixes the update-check configuration path. In v0.7.15, the app read update settings from the wrong directory, so update notifications could be missing.

If you’re on 0.7.14 or 0.7.15, please download 0.7.16 manually once. After that, update prompts will work normally.

Install

• Windows: unzip and run Companion.Desktop.exe.
• macOS: open .dmg and drag Companion.app to Applications. (ZIP contains the .app bundle.)
• Linux: unzip and run ./Companion.Desktop (chmod +x if needed).
