[Feature request] Please add BLE advertisement

I am looking for a library for both scanning and advertising a "beacon". By now, no library I have found supports both. Your library looks feature-rich and well-maintained, hence a great candidate, but lacks advertising as well. Do you intend to add this feature in the near future? (Or is it already supported, but I have missed it somehow..)

Another topic is that I need them to work from a foreground service. FlutterBluePlus (scan only) looks to be working from such a context. Your current implementation does support foreground services so far?

Is there a benefit in combining scanning and advertising in a single library? Wouldn't it be better having a separate library for advertising?

Currently we are endorsing and actively contributing to https://pub.dev/packages/ble_peripheral. We could combine the two packages but is there any particular benefit in doing so?

For the foreground service request please open another issue. Let's not combine those two are as they are largely unrelated. I am not even sure to which request the 👍 on the first post refers to.

As the two functionalities are highly related, even though not so often used together, a common plugin would really be "universal". Having a common nomenclature, API styling, eventually shared classes, and the same level of support and feature-richness would make such a plugin even more appreciated.
Would result in no overhead on the app because of the treeshaking anyway.

I was not aware of the other plugin you pointed me to. My first impression is mixed: it looks to provide fewer features than FlutterBlePeripheral (no tx power, for example), and the BLE support check returned false negative (opened issue).

For the foreground service request, I will open another issue. However, from my experience so far, if there is nothing in the plugin that requires an activity context, it should work. As far as I can tell, neither this nor the other plugin wants to handle permissions on its own, and that's a good sign. FlutterBlePeripheral wants to deal with permissions, and that makes it bound to an activity, thus unable to function from a foreground service.
