depth_midas not showing despite correct setup

❄️ depth_midas not showing up in ControlNet – despite correct install
System:

Windows 11

Stable Diffusion WebUI (Automatic1111)

ControlNet version: latest (v1.1.455)

Python 3.10

NVIDIA GPU

What I’ve done so far:

Downloaded correct model file dpt_hybrid-midas-501f0c75.pt (~469 MB)

Placed it in extensions/sd-webui-controlnet/annotator/ckpts

Replaced entire annotator/ folder with fresh working version

Started WebUI as administrator

Added set CONTROLNET_PREPROCESSOR_CONFIG=annotator to webui.bat

Cleared pycache, restarted WebUI, and reinstalled ControlNet

Tried both webui-user.bat and direct Python execution

✅ ControlNet works, shows up in UI, and even supports Deforum –
❌ But depth_midas does NOT appear in the Preprocessor dropdown.

Log sample shows correct startup, model detected, but no errors.

I’ve worked closely with ChatGPT and confirmed all paths, file names, versions and configs.

Any help appreciated – this is the last mile!
