MediaElement does not require adding additional `AndroidManifest.xml` permissions for the foreground service. When `enableForegroundService` is `true`, the toolkit will automatically add any required Android manifest entries for the foreground service and notifications. If you do not need background playback, you can set this to `false`. If you fail to call this method, an exception will be thrown when trying to use the `MediaElement`. |
