Error on execute CPU command

I cannot see anything about CPU , so I search the command line executed and ran manually.

[root@centos dashboard2]$ /etc/*-release
-bash: /etc/centos-release: Permissão negada

Its denied permission problem, any idea that I fix it ?

/etc/*-release is about the name of the operating system, not CPU. Also it's cat /etc/*-release, Centos will think you wanna run the file I assume
