Privacy Issue - Incorrectly Assigned as Organization Admin for Stanford University

When I signed up for a Mermaid Chart account using my Stanford University email, I was automatically assigned as the administrator of the Stanford University organization. As a result, I receive approval request emails whenever someone else at Stanford tries to sign up, including their full name and email address.

This raises two concerns:

1. Incorrect role assignment - I should not have been made the organization admin. I simply signed up as a regular user.
2. Privacy issue - I can see the names and email addresses of other Stanford members requesting to join, which I should not have access to.

Could someone please look into this and remove me from the admin role? Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out, I have looked into the concerns and turned off the visibility for your org.

1. Incorrect role assignment: The organization you are currently part of has been created during your SignUp flow, and only has a single member. You have been assigned as the Admin, as you have created the Org. You can delete the Org from the Org Page
2. Privacy issue: Our Organization discovery feature lets users with the same domain name send join requests to organizations that have enabled discovery in the Org page. So the email and name you are seeing are not of every user that joins, rather only of the users who are requesting to join your Org. I have turned off the discovery feature in that Org, so you will not be receiving any more emails.
